Kashur' Zaika:The taste of Kashmiri food The Kashmiri food is worth dying for and the cuisine is nearly a dying one, and is now prepared only on some special occasions such as marriages.
The cuisine has always had its devotees, but it owes its survival to the time honored Indian practice of verbally handling down recipes through the generations . As each mother retold the culinary secrets to her daughter, Kashmiri cuisine subtly changed and evolved from one household to another, the essence of the rich, hearty and yet subtly flavored food has however remained untouched over the time.
This is then we compiled the original recipes from Kashmiri households. Appropriately titled with the Kashmiri word for 'Taste and Flavor'
